OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager LLE responsible for the strategic procurement of all long-lead equipment critical to the Data Center programme in Indonesia. This role ensures timely identification, tendering, evaluation, and award of LLE packages — including power, cooling, generators, switchgear, and other mission-critical systems — to support the project schedule and budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage the Long Lead Equipment procurement schedule and register aligned to the master programme timeline.
- Lead the identification, pre-qualification, and tendering of LLE suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare tender documents, scope of supply, and commercial terms for LLE packages.
- Evaluate bids technically and commercially, producing recommendation reports for client approval.
- Negotiate and execute purchase orders, supply contracts, and framework agreements.
- Monitor vendor progress, manufacturing milestones, factory acceptance tests (FATs), and delivery dates.
- Coordinate import logistics, customs clearance, and delivery to site in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Manage change orders and variations arising from LLE scope changes.
- Maintain procurement dashboards and provide regular status updates to the Programme Director.
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure LLE specifications are aligned with design intent.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 13 years in procurement, supply chain, or contracts management within construction or engineering environments.
- Proven experience procuring critical MEP equipment for Data Centers, power infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of LLE categories such as UPS, generators, transformers, chillers, switchgear, and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with Indonesian import regulations, duty structures, and customs processes.
- Experience managing international vendors and coordinating factory acceptance tests.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong documentation skills.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent procurement certification preferred.
