Key Responsibilities :
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders (gather and/or understand the requirements of their procurement needs; facilitate communication between business units, internal stakeholders, and suppliers).
- Focus on strategy long term sourcing.
- Evaluate existing sources for applicable capabilities, quality systems, management and financial stability, cost competitiveness and responsiveness.
- Establish and maintain reliable sources of supply to ensure timely procurement of all assigned goods, materials, and services.
- Implement and manage long-term agreements to deliver best quality, delivery and total cost of ownership.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of sourcing and procurement projects from planning and bid preparation to budgeting/forecasting, general delivery specs, negotiating, contracting, invoicing and reporting.
- Prepare and execute RFP/RFQs and analyze quotations and bids.
- Facilitate business reviews with key suppliers and build high level partnership with suppliers.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Engineering (Project) or other related fields.
- Understanding of procurement best practices, such as Doing Strategic Negotiation, Industry and Market Analysis, stake holder management and Contract Management
- 68 years in Procurement with at least 3 years focused on Direct Materials (Raw Materials/Ingredients) Experience in high volume Industries like FMCG, Food & Beverage is a must.
- Commodity Market Analysis - Ability to track and analyze global commodity indices to anticipate market shift.
- Agility & Problem Solving - Proven ability to act fast during supply disruptions (e.g., finding an emergency alternative supplier)
- Familiar with standard concepts and commonly used purchasing policies, processes and procedures
