As the business continues to grow, maintaining consistent ingredient quality, reliable supply, competitive purchasing costs, and strict adherence to product standards is essential. We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented procurement professional who can build strong supplier relationships while ensuring the business receives the right products at the right quality, price, and time.

What You Will Contribute

As the Procurement Manager at Butter Protein Club, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the overall procurement function of the business. Working closely with the General Manager and operational teams, you will ensure the business has a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality supply chain that supports daily operations and future growth.

You will take ownership of supplier sourcing, purchasing, negotiations, inventory coordination, cost control, and procurement standards. A key part of your role will be ensuring that all ingredients and products comply with Butter Protein Club's strict product philosophy, including its 100% seed-oil-free and animal-based concept.

Your commercial judgment, supplier network, negotiation skills, and attention to detail will directly contribute to product consistency, operational efficiency, and overall profitability.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage the overall procurement function for Butter Protein Club.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements, product standards, and financial objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable local and international suppliers where appropriate.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Ensure all purchased ingredients, products, and supplies meet the required quality, specifications, and brand standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the company's 100% seed-oil-free and animal-based ingredient requirements.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, and operational teams to understand purchasing requirements and forecast demand.
  • Monitor purchasing activities to ensure the right quantity and quality of products are available at the right time.
  • Develop and maintain an approved supplier list and regularly assess supplier performance.
  • Conduct regular price comparisons and market checks to ensure competitive purchasing costs.
  • Monitor food and beverage purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
  • Manage purchase orders, supplier quotations, invoices, and other procurement documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and operations teams regarding stock requirements, product specifications, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, product availability, quality, and consistency.
  • Handle supplier issues, discrepancies, rejected products, shortages, and delayed deliveries promptly.
  • Work closely with inventory and operations teams to minimize overstocking, stock-outs, spoilage, and unnecessary wastage.
  • Support accurate inventory control through regular stock checks, reconciliation, and procurement planning.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, pricing databases, supplier information, and purchasing reports.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and availability of key ingredients to support effective purchasing decisions.
  • Identify alternative suppliers and products to minimize supply-chain risks and maintain business continuity.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, food safety requirements, and applicable Indonesian regulations.
  • Support the development of procurement SOPs, purchasing procedures, and supplier evaluation systems.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports and provide recommendations to the General Manager regarding cost, supplier performance, and purchasing strategy.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, product quality, supplier performance, and overall profitability.

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing within the hospitality, restaurant, F&B, or food-related industry.
  • Previous experience in a Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Head of Procurement, or similar leadership role is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of F&B procurement, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, dry goods, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
  • Strong knowledge of local supplier networks and the Bali F&B supply market.
  • Proven experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve competitive purchasing costs.
  • Good understanding of food costs, COGS, inventory management, stock control, and purchasing budgets.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to evaluate product quality, specifications, pricing, and supplier reliability.
  • Experience developing and maintaining supplier databases, purchasing records, and procurement reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to supply and operational challenges.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment where product availability and consistency are critical.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism when managing suppliers and company purchasing activities.
