We are currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Procurement Excellence Specialist (Business Solutions & Cost Optimization). This role is responsible for driving procurement excellence through spend analytics, cost optimization initiatives, supplier performance management, and strategic business partnering. The position plays a key role in transforming procurement data into actionable insights, supporting sourcing decisions, identifying savings opportunities, and enhancing overall procurement effectiveness across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate procurement requests related to technical services across all UOI operations.
- Analyze business requirements, demand patterns, and spending trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Develop spend visibility and reporting by ensuring procurement expenditures are accurately categorized, tracked, and analyzed through procurement analytics tools.
- Track, validate, and report realized savings initiatives while ensuring alignment with cost optimization targets.
- Develop should-cost models, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, and benchmark market intelligence to support sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement solutions that create commercial value.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and issue resolution.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain supplier performance databases and procurement metrics.
- Support RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, contract implementation, and supplier selection activities.
- Deliver data-driven insights and executive summaries to support decision-making by procurement and business leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, governance, and value creation.
Requirements
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Willing to work and based in Sei Mangkei, North Sumatra.
- Bachelor's degree from any major.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Analytics, Commercial Finance, Business Analysis, Business Solutions, Pricing, Costing, Cost Control, or related fields.
- Strong experience in spend analysis, cost optimization, pricing strategy, business performance analysis, or procurement excellence activities.
- Experience in vendor/supplier relationship management and supplier performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, commercial analysis, sourcing activities, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Proven ability to perform cost modelling, TCO analysis, savings tracking, and commercial evaluations.
- Good understanding of commercial terms, procurement principles, and basic legal compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and analytical reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
