Job Description

Industry: Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement activities for Oil & Gas projects and operations.
  • Process purchase requisitions (PR) into purchase orders (PO) in accordance with company procedures.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery, and compliance standards.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Monitor material delivery status to ensure on-time supply for project and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance departments regarding procurement requirements.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and industry regulations.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and purchasing status updates.
  • Support tendering and bidding processes for goods and services.
  • Handle vendor performance evaluation and maintain good supplier relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
  • Experience handling local and international suppliers.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas materials, equipment, and logistics processes.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
