Position Overview
The Process Engineer will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for process design, equipment specification, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to implement improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The successful candidate will be data-driven, experienced in process control and scale-up, and skilled at working with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for validation and introduction of new products, new processes, and new equipment.
- Drive analysis, resolution, and continuous improvement of shop floor process issues
- Monitor and execute production processes to ensure stable operation.
- Conduct process data analysis and output relevant reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in process engineering experience; tobacco, food, or chemical industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with lean management tools and 1+ year of continuous improvement practice.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis and process control tools to drive decisions.
- English working proficiency is required.
- Local Indonesians or Chinese with legal work status in Indonesia
