Job Description

We are looking for Solution Architects who win complex cloud, data, and AI engagements. You own the technical solution in presales: from discovery to architecture to proposal. Your success is measured primarily by whether the customer commits because they trust the solution and the thinking behind it. After a deal is closed, you briefly attach to the delivery teams to ensure architectural continuity and a strong start, then move on to the next opportunity.

This is a front-of-the-deal, high-impact role, not a long-term delivery position.

Your operating model

  • Lead technical discovery and translate business problems into clear, compelling solution designs
  • Shape cloud-native architectures that are realistic, scalable, and differentiated
  • Work closely with Sales and Delivery on proposals, RFPs, and executive conversations
  • Explain complex systems clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
  • Stress-test ideas with Delivery and Technology leaders to ensure solutions are executable in the real world
  • Attach post-sale to stabilize early delivery and clarify architectural intent

Your experience should look roughly like this

  • Typically 7+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or senior engineering roles
  • Proven experience in presales or customer-facing technical roles, shaping and winning complex deals
  • Strong foundation in cloud architecture (Google Cloud (GCP) preferred), data platforms, or distributed systems
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both technical and executive levels
  • Track record of turning ambiguous problems into clear, trusted solutions

The level of technical fluency we expect

This is not a pure hands-on engineering role but you must be technically convincing.

  • You are comfortable reasoning about systems beyond diagrams: data flows, failure modes, integration points, and trade-offs
  • You can go one level deeper when needed sketching, validating assumptions, or rough-prototyping ideas to de-risk decisions
  • You are pragmatic about tools, languages, and platforms, and can adapt as technology choices evolve
  • You use modern approaches, including AI-assisted exploration or prototyping, to think faster, test ideas, and sharpen solutions
  • You know when good enough to decide is better than perfect but late

You don't need to be the best coder in the room but you cannot bluff the technical side of this role.

Explicit non-responsibilities

  • Owning delivery execution, project management, or P&L
  • Being measured by lines of code or ticket throughput
  • Spending months embedded in a single project
  • Acting as a standards-only or governance-only architect
