Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences. The teacher will be responsible for fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the preschool's curriculum.

- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

- Observe, monitor, and assess each child's progress, maintaining open communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and reports.

- Encourage positive social interactions, emotional regulation, and independence among children.

- Incorporate play-based, hands-on learning methods that stimulate curiosity and creativity.

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times, following school policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers, assistants, and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational team.

- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and resource-rich classroom environment.

Requirements

- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or in a similar role, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.

- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- Excellent communication skills in **Bahasa Indonesia** and **English** (verbal and written).

- Patient, empathetic, energetic, and passionate about working with young children.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Basic computer skills for lesson planning, communication, and record-keeping.

- Willingness to comply with local regulations and school policies, including health and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in early childhood education (e.g., Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).

- Experience with multicultural or bilingual classroom settings.

- Familiarity with the Indonesian National Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) or international early years frameworks.
