About the Role

PT Gunung Sawo is looking for a motivated and technically minded Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a multi-tasking role combining technical sales, pre-sales support, solution design, product management, and field activities.

You will work with our sales team, customers, and international suppliers to develop reliable power and infrastructure solutions, focusing on Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) equipment, including UPS systems, generator sets, and precision air conditioning (PAC).

This position is suitable for fresh graduates with an Electrical Engineering background who are eager to learn, develop technical expertise, and build a career in technical sales and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Support the sales team in technical discussions, customer meetings, and product presentations.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, equipment specifications, and solution designs.
Develop product knowledge and understand customer requirements for UPS, generator sets, precision air conditioning, and related electrical power systems.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers on product specifications, technical clarifications, and project requirements.
Conduct site surveys, equipment inspections, installation coordination, commissioning support, and troubleshooting when required.
Assist with tender documentation, technical compliance, and project submissions.
Monitor market developments, competitor products, and new technologies.
Support business development activities and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering (Teknik Elektro).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong interest in electrical power systems, data center infrastructure, and technical solutions.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to learn, work collaboratively, and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Willing to travel to customer sites and support field activities, including equipment installation and commissioning.
Good command of English is an advantage, particularly for communication with international suppliers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of AutoCAD or electrical design software is an advantage.
