Job Summary**
Responsible for conducting post-mortem examinations on poultry to identify the cause of death, assess disease presence, and monitor flock health, ensuring compliance with company standards and contributing to overall poultry health management.
Job Responsibilities**
- Perform thorough post-mortem examinations on deceased poultry according to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record and document all findings from post-mortem examinations, including macroscopic and microscopic observations, organ conditions, and suspected lesions.
- Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis (e.g., microbiology, histopathology, virology) as required.
- Identify and differentiate various poultry diseases, parasites, and nutritional deficiencies based on post-mortem findings.
- Communicate findings promptly to relevant stakeholders, including farm managers, veterinarians, and production teams.
- Maintain a clean and organized post-mortem examination area, adhering to strict biosecurity and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the implementation of disease prevention and control measures based on post-mortem findings.
- Participate in data analysis and reporting related to poultry mortality trends and disease patterns.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
