Our client is a leading private equity investment platform with a significant real estate portfolio across Indonesia. We are currently seeking an experienced senior professional to join their Portfolio Management team
This is a strategic leadership role focused on overseeing and optimizing a large-scale real estate portfolio on behalf of the fund. The successful candidate will combine strong investment acumen with hands-on portfolio management expertise and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across investments, asset management, finance, and operations
About the Portfolio Management Director opportunity
- Lead the portfolio management and strategic oversight of a diversified real estate portfolio
- Drive portfolio performance, value creation initiatives, and long-term investment outcomes
- Monitor asset and fund-level performance, including financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning
- Partner with investment teams on acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and capital allocation decisions
- Support portfolio optimization initiatives across multiple asset classes and geographies
- Prepare and present portfolio insights and recommendations to senior management and investment committees
- Work closely with operating partners, developers, and external advisors to ensure execution excellence
- Contribute to fund strategy, risk management, and investor reporting processes
Skills and experience needed
- Minimum 15 years of experience within private equity, real estate investment, investment banking, asset management, or related fields
- Strong background in real estate investments with exposure to institutional-grade portfolios
- Experience managing or overseeing large and complex real estate portfolios
- Proven financial modelling, analytical, and strategic capabilities
- Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a private equity fund, sovereign wealth fund, institutional investor, or leading real estate platform preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is advantageous
