Podcaster (English Speaker)

Company Description Egg Geek is a startup studio dedicated to building and supporting Aceh's startup and tech community. Based in Banda Aceh, the team focuses on educating people about technology and entrepreneurship to strengthen the local ecosystem.

Role Description This is an paid internship role for a Podcaster based in Banda Aceh. The Podcaster will plan, research, and develop episode topics that highlight technology, startups, and local ecosystem stories. Daily tasks include scripting episodes, conducting interviews with founders and community members, recording and hosting podcast sessions, and collaborating with the team on show format and narrative direction. The role also involves coordinating production schedules, assisting with basic audio review, and supporting promotional efforts through social media and community channels.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Interviewing skills to host engaging conversations and interact with guests.
• Solid Writing and Research skills to prepare scripts, questions, and episode outlines.
• Proficiency with Social Media platforms to promote episodes and engage listeners.
• Interest in technology, startups, and community-building, especially within emerging ecosystems.
• Basic understanding of audio recording tools or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to work on-site in Banda Aceh, collaborate in a team setting, and manage time effectively.
• Fluency in relevant local languages and good English communication skills.
