Job Description

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

Planning Supervisor in charge to liaise between Planning and Sales Team for all scope. Generating and update all the schedules with regard to CDD requirements.

Responsible to utilize the sales forecast and customer order data sheet including as minimum information as SOW, MTO and/or BOM, expected production commencement, lead time delivery and consumable budget. The Planning Supervisor will look into the current live projects together with the forecasted projects for the next 6-36 months.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce schedules for Sales to support bidding;
  • Produce and or validate schedules for Projects post Sales award [validating schedule against changes or modifications to the assumptions made in bidding phase].
  • All schedules shall be produced with respect to the CDD requirements.
  • Produce the weekly allocations ensuring project priorities are clear, meeting all required contractual delivery dates.
  • Work with Production Planning Superintendent to validate the Actual production output against the Plan and identify changes that need to be made to ensure CDDs are achieved. Feedback to Production Planning Superintendent to ensure these changes are enacted by Production team.
  • Organize and lead a regular recurring monthly meeting with Regional Sales department to review upcoming opportunities / priorities. Identify potential preparations that need to be made in anticipation of being awarded new scopes (New machines / modifications / tooling / water wash / special size of incoming works very small / very large etc.) and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure these requirements are clearly communicated to relevant parties.

Act as successor of the Planning Manager whenever it's required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree / Equivalent

Desirable: N/A

KNOWLEDGE/COURSES

  • Familiarity or proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ERP System.
  • Fluent/understand organization related tools and process.
  • Familiarity or proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Presentation) and Adobe editor
  • Familiarity or proficient in using Microsoft Projects.
  • Digital application understanding and operating ability.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCE (SKILLS):

  • Minimum 4 years minimum experience in similar field of expertise.
  • Good communication ability and interpersonal skill.
  • Fluent in business English communication in both written and spoken.
  • Quick learner, good analytical skill, and complex problem-solving ability.
  • Very familiar with plant and machining capabilities and overall process.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and writing).
  • Ability to work independently as well as on team.
  • Can work fast within the deadline.
  • Familiar with handle several task at once
