OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer supports the Planning Manager in developing and maintaining the construction programme schedule for the Data Center project in Indonesia. This role is responsible for tracking construction progress, updating project schedules, and producing lookahead reports that enable the PMC and construction team to manage delivery proactively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules in Primavera P6 or MS Project under the direction of the Planning Manager.
- Collect daily and weekly progress data from supervisors and contractors and update the schedule accordingly.
- Produce weekly lookahead programmes (3-week, 6-week) for review by the construction and PMC teams.
- Prepare progress S-curves, histograms, and schedule performance reports.
- Monitor actual progress against baseline and identify any slippage or float erosion.
- Review and validate contractor-submitted programmes for logic, sequencing, and resource loading.
- Support schedule impact assessments for variations, change events, and delays.
- Maintain the programme baseline and manage baseline change control procedures.
- Assist with month-end reporting packages, including schedule narrative and performance indicators.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to integrate LLE delivery dates and milestones into the master schedule.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years of project planning and scheduling experience on construction projects.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and/or MS Project.
- Experience on MEP-heavy, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects preferred.
- Understanding of critical path methodology (CPM), earned value management, and programme baseline control.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate schedule reports for construction and management teams.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Planning certification (PMI-SP or AACE PSP) is advantageous.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented with strong data management and analytical skills.
