Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Formulizing and Monitor comprehensive Project or Operational Plan of PaxOcean Batam Yard
  • Assisting to develop planning and scheduling for all enquiries purpose of New Building, Conversion, and Ship Repair projects.

Responsibilities

(Project Planning Section)

  • Assisting Planning Manager on the planning and scheduling on tender query of New Building, Conversion, and Ship Repair Project in daily basis,
  • Prepare and recording overall resource plan on the project execution,
  • Monitor all the engineering drawings, procurement/purchasing, construction, commissioning plans to ensure that the planned progress is implemented for his/her assigned project
  • Work together and maintain proactive communication with Project Managers, Trades lead, Commercial section, Construction/Production, in matter of planning, scheduling and monitoring,
  • To raise the planning or scheduling issue of risk of delays earliest as possible, and pro-actively collaborate with stakeholder to overcome,
  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

(Yard Planning Section)

  • Assisting Planning Manager on the yard level planning and resource allocation,
  • Prepare and recording yard level resources plan,
  • To raise the risk of operational activity, and pro-actively collaborate with stakeholder to overcome,
  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.
  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource planning within a shipyard environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good understanding of marine engineering terminology.
  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced shipyard environment.

Bachelors in Naval Architect

Diploma in Marine Engineering
