About the role

We are seeking a Placement Support to join our dynamic team. As a Placement Support you will provide essential administrative support to the Placement Executive, focusing on General Insurance products. This role is responsible for maintaining high service standards by tracking policy lifecycles, coordinating between internal departments, and ensuring financial data accuracy within the insurance broking system.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Placement Executive with all administrative tasks related to General Insurance products across various business lines
  • Proactively follow up with insurance carriers to ensure Cover Notes and Policy Books are printed and delivered within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor and control the end-to-end process of policy issuance and customer delivery to guarantee timely service
  • Liaise with Operations and Finance to oversee the invoice generation process and ensure documents are dispatched to insurers and clients promptly
  • Manage and monitor the status of policy endorsements to ensure all modifications are processed accurately
  • Execute ad-hoc administrative projects and tasks as required by the management team
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all time

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field. Fresh graduate are welcome
  • Have completed an internship within theInsurance, Brokerage, or Insurtechindustry is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with the basic insurance lifecycle (quotations, policies, endorsements)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fast learner and tech-savvy

  • Ability to track multiple Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

  • A can-do attitude with the initiative to follow up on pending documents without constant supervision.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
