Role Description

The Piano Teacher will deliver high-quality piano instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels in an on-site setting at the East Jakarta campus.

This part-time role involves planning and conducting individual and small-group lessons, teaching music theory fundamentals, and guiding students through appropriate repertoires and technique development.

The teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare learners for recitals, examinations, or internal performances. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere, collaborating with other instructors on curriculum and events, and communicating with caregivers or adult learners about goals and progress.

Qualifications

* Degree/Diploma in Music or relevant music certification

* Strong foundation in Piano Performance and Music Theory

* Experience teaching piano, preferably with students of various ages and levels

* Able to teach both Classical and/or Contemporary Piano

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Patient, responsible, and committed to students progress

* Professional attitude and good work ethic

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Performance, competition, or examination experience is a plus
