Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Akeso's clinic in Gambir. The Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands-on therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough physical evaluations, documenting clinical findings, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment as needed. The role involves educating patients about injury prevention, recovery strategies, and self-management techniques, as well as collaborating with other health professionals to coordinate care. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to maintaining clinical standards, ensuring a safe treatment environment, and supporting clinic operations as required.
Qualifications
  • Formal education in Physiotherapy (Bachelor's degree or higher) and valid professional licensure or eligibility to practice physiotherapy in the region.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for musculoskeletal and related conditions.
  • Ability to provide clear patient education, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, openness to feedback, and familiarity with current physiotherapy research and best practices.
  • Compassionate, ethical approach to patient care, with strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload on-site in Gambir.
  • Experience in outpatient or sports physiotherapy settings is an advantage; proficiency in additional languages relevant to local patients is beneficial.
