Overview
Tatler Indonesia is seeking a highly skilled Photographer to join our in-house creative team. This role requires not only technical excellence, but also a strong artistic eye aligned with luxury lifestyle aesthetics. You will be responsible for producing elevated imagery across fashion, portraiture, interiors, dining, events, and branded contentensuring Tatler's visual signature is consistently upheld across print, digital, and social platforms.
This is a role for a photographer who understands storytelling, premium branding, and the fast-paced world of modern luxury media.

Key Responsibilities
Luxury Editorial & Creative Production
- Execute high-end photo shootsportrait, lifestyle, fashion, product, interiors, and event coverageboth in studio and on location.
- Interpret editorial and commercial creative briefs into compelling visual stories aligned with Tatler's aesthetic standards.
- Propose creative concepts and visual approaches for shoots when required.
Retouching & Post-Production
- Edit, color-correct, and retouch images to Tatler's premium quality standards for print and digital.
- Ensure consistency in visual style across all platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, Editors, Stylists, and Commercial Team to bring concepts to life.
- Support branded content projects with client-specific visual requirements while maintaining Tatler's brand integrity.
- Coordinate with regional Tatler Asia teams for cross-market campaigns and shared content.
Production & Project Management
- Scout locations, assess lighting conditions, and plan shot lists or visual sequences.
- Manage on-set logistics including lighting, equipment setup, and shoot pacing.
- Deliver assets within tight editorial timelinesoften same-day or next-day turnaround.
Asset & Equipment Management
- Maintain and organize all photography equipment, lighting gear, and technical tools.
- Manage digital file archiving and naming systems to ensure accessibility for the wider team.
- Monitor equipment condition and propose upgrades when necessary.
Industry Awareness & Innovation
- Stay updated on photography, lighting, AI-assisted tools, and post-production trends relevant to luxury media.
- Introduce new techniques, technologies, and visual formats that elevate Tatler's content quality.
Requirements
Technical & Professional
- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or relevant field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5 years of professional photography experience, preferably in luxury lifestyle, fashion, publishing, or commercial production.
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; familiarity with Capture One is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to create premium imagery in multiple categories (portrait, food, interiors, fashion, still life).
- Strong understanding of studio lighting and complex on-location lighting setups.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to rapid changes.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple shoots/projects simultaneously.
- Creative, solution-oriented, detail-driven, and adaptable.
Bonus Points
- Experience shooting and editing video (Reels, short-form, interviews, branded campaigns).
- Previous experience in media, publishing, or luxury brand environments.
- Understanding of visual storytelling for social media and digital-first formats.
