Role Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian) to support daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist (Apoteker Penanggung Jawab). This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate dispensing, smooth store operations, proper inventory handling, and quality customer service, while strictly adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and standard operating procedures.
This position is well-suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, service-minded, and committed to maintaining patient safety and ethical pharmacy practices in a growing healthcare retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing & Patient Support: Prepare and dispense OTC medications under the guidance of the Responsible Pharmacist, provide basic medication information within authorized scope and SOP, and escalate prescription-related or clinical inquiries when required.
- Inventory Control & Stock Management: Receive and verify incoming goods, monitor expiry dates, implement FIFO and FEFO principles, maintain storage cleanliness, and support stock opname and purchase request processes.
- Operational Administration & Documentation: Record daily transactions, returns, inventory logs, and operational reports, and support the Responsible Pharmacist in maintaining technical, regulatory, and audit-related documentation.
- Compliance & Quality Support: Assist in audit preparation, ensure adherence to pharmacy SOPs and regulatory requirements, and promptly report discrepancies or issues affecting patient safety or operations.
- Store Operations & Customer Experience: Support cashier and POS operations when needed, maintain store tidiness and merchandising standards, and contribute to smooth daily operations and positive customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Pharmacy; pharmacy-related vocational graduates are also considered.
- Valid STR or STRTTK in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in pharmacy, healthcare retail, or related roles is an advantage.
- Basic pharmaceutical and OTC medication knowledge with the ability to follow SOPs accurately.
- Strong inventory handling and administrative accuracy, including attention to detail.
- Good customer service and basic patient interaction skills.
- Demonstrates initiative, discipline, teamwork, integrity, and a strong compliance mindset.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
