The Pharmacist Project Manager role offers an opportunity to lead a strategic digital health initiative for a multinational healthcare company in Indonesia. The role focuses on regulatory interface, market access, and collaboration with the Ministry of Health, healthcare providers, and global teams to ensure smooth market entry and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Regulatory & Market Access Liaison: Act as the primary contact with the Indonesian Ministry of Health and healthcare providers, ensuring compliance and enabling smooth market access
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and Information Technology (IT) teams to deliver the project successfully, on time, and to the highest professional standards
- Project Leadership: Lead the project locally in Indonesia, represent the organisation professionally, and oversee day-to-day activities
- Domain Expertise: Provide expertise in pharmacy sciences, Western and traditional medicines prescribed in Indonesia, and digital prescription systems used across the public and private sectors
- Communication Management: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely communication between Indonesian stakeholders and global teams, ensuring there are no gaps or misunderstandings
- Data & Analytics: Apply analytical tools, including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python, to monitor outcomes, generate insights, and support decision-making
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Prior experience working at or collaborating with BPJS, the Ministry of Health Directorate for Pharmaceuticals; IQVIA, CEPHAS, MedWatch, and StarMeds is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy
- 7 to 10+ years of professional experience in pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy, or regulatory affairs
- Strong expertise in pharmacy sciences and knowledge of Western and traditional medicines prescribed in Indonesia
- Hands-on experience with digital pharmacy prescription systems used across Indonesia's public and private sectors
- Strong knowledge of BPOM and Kemenkes regulations and registered drug lists across Indonesia
- Proven record of publishing research articles or contributing to academic journals
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL queries
- Peer-reviewed publications are highly regarded
- Experience with Python, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and predictive analytics will be an advantage
