We are currently seeking an experienced
Personal Protection / Insulation Technician for an immediate start for an offshore project in
Brazil. This is a critical role focused on thermal insulation, personal protection shielding, and CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) management.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of thermal and acoustic insulation systems on piping, vessels, and equipment.
- Fitting and repairing Personal Protection (PP) guards and shields to ensure crew safety from high-temperature surfaces.
- Fabricating and installing metal cladding (jacketing) to prevent water ingress and maritime corrosion.
- Working with various materials including rockwool, cellular glass, and removable insulation blankets.
- Assisting in the identification and mitigation of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
- Adhering to strict offshore HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as an Insulator/Coibentatore in the Oil & Gas industry (Offshore experience on FPSOs or Platforms is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and cladding layout.
- Certifications: Valid BOSIET / OPITO (with EBS).
- Valid OGUK Medical certificate.
- Industrial Rope Access (IRATA) certification is a significant plus.
- Language: Good English
- Availability: Ready to mobilize immediately.

- Rotation: 45 days ON / 45 days OFF
- Working Schedule: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week
- Contract Type: 6 months + 6 months (Extendable)
