Role Description The Permit Coordinator Mall Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all permit-related activities for mall operations, including preparing, submitting, and tracking permit applications for new developments, tenant fit-outs, and ongoing facility works. The Permit Coordinator works closely with internal teams, tenants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring permit timelines, organizing inspections, and following up on approvals to prevent delays in projects or mall operations. The role also involves responding to inquiries related to permits, supporting tenants with permitting processes, and providing clear communication and customer-oriented service to all stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in permit processes, including Permit Applications and Building Permits, with experience coordinating documentation and submissions to local authorities.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of Inspection procedures and regulatory compliance, with the ability to schedule, prepare for, and follow up on inspections and corrective actions.
  • Experience in mall operations, commercial real estate, or facilities management is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal, technical, and regulatory documents.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and digital tools for tracking permits and maintaining records.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian building codes, local government regulations, and mall operations in Jakarta or broader Indonesia is an advantage.
