Responsible for aligning Transaction Banking (TB) strategy in measuring sales performance achievement, while driving improvements in reporting results and process efficiency through data analysis and development of supporting tools. The role also involves conducting market research to assess the bank's position within the industry and identifying macroeconomic conditions that may directly or indirectly impact TB performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Conduct market intelligence and research, particularly related to Transaction Banking business and macroeconomic or industry developments.
- Analyze market positioning and identify opportunities or risks impacting TB performance.
Business Performance & Management
- Monitor TB sales performance through regular financial updates and pipeline tracking.
- Support TB sales pipeline management activities, including reporting, tracking, and progress monitoring.
- Provide data updates and analytical support for TB programs and initiatives.
- Track leads and business initiatives, and provide summarized insights on progression and outcomes.
- Support the preparation and socialization of new or updated reports to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare business presentations and performance reports for management review.
- Support TB Award preparation and submission processes.
Stakeholder & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of performance reports across all related units.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in performance monitoring, business analytics, reporting, or related roles (preferably in banking/financial services)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights
- Proficient in data processing and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other visualization tools is an advantage)
- Good understanding of financial statements and key business performance metrics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Good communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate data into clear business insights
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- High level of integrity and adherence to compliance standards
