Job Description:
Target Setting & Goal Management
- Target Formulation: Assist the KPI/Performance Management Lead in calculating and setting appropriate, challenging, and data-driven operational targets for each specific warehouse across the network.
- Benchmarking & Analysis: Utilize historical performance data, internal benchmarks (best-in-class warehouses), and strategic objectives to inform the target-setting process.
- Target Communication: Formally communicate finalized targets, along with clear rationales, to individual Warehouse Leads and their respective teams.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- KPI Strategy & Design: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive set of operational and strategic KPIs (e.g., Receiving Productivity, Pick/Pack Efficiency, Inventory Accuracy, Shipping SLA, Cost Per Unit).
- Data Oversight: Own the process of data collection, validation, and analysis from various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data sources.
- Reporting & Tracking: Establish and maintain standardized, daily, weekly, and monthly performance scorecards, dashboards, and reports for management review.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to determine the root causes of underperformance and inefficiencies across all warehouse functions.
Improvement & Operational Support
- Proactive Intervention: Continuously monitor operational performance and proactively flag deviations or negative trends to management.
- Performance Support: Provide additional, dedicated support to under-performing warehouses, including detailed root cause investigation, data modeling, and validation of improvement hypotheses.
- Action Planning: Collaborate with Warehouse Leads to develop and track specific, time-bound Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to close performance gaps.
- Best Practice Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of successful SOPs and best practices between top-performing and struggling warehouse sites.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, demand forecasts
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems (WMS) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software) to track inventory and generate insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate inventory discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (procurement, outbound, suppliers) and align inventory strategies with broader operational goals.
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication, with the ability to document procedures, train teams, and collaborate with international stakeholders if needed.
