Job Description
Role: People Manager, Indonesia
Lead the People function in Indonesia and support both strategic and day-to-day HR operations. Partner with business leaders to align people practices with business goals, while fostering employee development, engagement, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Business Partnering
- Manage daily HR operations and ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
- Partner with managers to support people-related matters and business objectives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and employee records.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment activities to attract and hire suitable talent.
- Work with hiring managers on workforce planning and staffing needs.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Support employer branding and talent sourcing initiatives
Learning & Development
- Identify training and development needs across the business.
- Coordinate and support employee training programs.
- Assist in talent reviews and succession planning activities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Employee Engagement
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Support employee communication and feedback programs.
- Help create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Partner with managers to improve employee satisfaction and performance.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Support payroll and benefits administration processes.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with company guidelines and local requirements.
- Assist with annual salary reviews and market benchmarking activities.
- Support annual bonus, salary review, and benefits administration processes.
HR Compliance & Administration
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Indonesia labor regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support audits and reporting requirements as required.
- Manage employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a multi-site environment.
- Good understanding of Indonesia employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, and employee engagement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both spoken and written.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
