This internship offers hands-on experience in creating a positive and engaging workplace culture. Interns will support employee programs, events, and internal communications while learning how HR strategies contribute to employee well-being and company growth. It's a great opportunity to build skills in organization, collaboration, and people development. This internship program will begin around July 2026 with a 6-month to 1-year period, as agreed with the mentor.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Employee Engagement Programs: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing internal events or initiatives (e.g., celebrations, wellness activities, recognition programs) to foster a positive work culture.
- Assist with Internal Communication: Help draft and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, and visual content to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Maintain Employee Experience Documentation: Organize data, attendance lists, feedback, and reports related to People Experience programs, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with Cross-functional Teams: Communicate and collaborate with different departments (e.g., IT, Office Assistant, CSR) to support the smooth execution of employee-focused initiatives.
- Provide Administrative Support: Handle scheduling, prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and assist with follow-ups to ensure timely execution of tasks under the People Experience area.
Requirements:
- Education background: Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
- Soft Skill: Empathy, communication, collaboration, adaptability, initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and time management.
- Technical skill: Interpersonal, problem-solving, willingness to learn, tech savvy, able to maintain confidentiality re. employee-related matters, and basic knowledge of employee engagement, organizational behavior, or HR processes is a plus.
