POSITION: PEOPLE ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
JOB LOCATION: Batamindo Industrial Park, Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia
ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Full-Time/Permanent
JOB SUMMARY: The People Engagement Manager is responsible for fostering a positive, energetic, and connected workplace culture by organizing and leading employee engagement initiatives and activities. This role suits someone cheerful, outgoing, and passionate about meeting and interacting with people, with the ability to plan fun, meaningful events that strengthen teamwork, morale, and employee satisfaction across the organization.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible & accountable for overall people engagement approach, framework and activities that uphold company culture, branding and values
- Define directions and strategy in developing and nurturing the employee engagement activities, leadership development and training if needed (internally & externally)
- Lead, manage, and drive people focused projects as part of organization strategic focuses and needs
- Ensure organization activities and programs align with company culture, branding & values
- Oversee program development, propose recommendation, oversee budget & manage OP strategy needs. Includes change management, team building, operational workshops, etc.
- Governs, develop, and sustain people engagement framework & approach that encompasses processes, standards & rules that apply
- Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and actively work with site leadership team to help positively influence company culture, branding & values
- Interface with close partnership with internal & external parties on all people engagement relevant topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is an advantage, or Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or any related field
- Must have experience managing people engagement activities in a large scale company with more than 2,000 employees
- Possess strategic thinking and planning skills
- Project management skills
- Strong analytical thinking, situational analysis, and datainterpretation to provide insights
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Experience with employee engagement platforms and survey tools
- Excellent communication in English, verbal & written
- Must be willing to work in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia
