About the role
Amed Honeycomb School is seeking a dynamic and experienced PE/Swimming Teacher to join our growing team in Amed, Karangasem, Bali. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching physical education lessons and swimming instruction across the whole school, from Primary to Secondary. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the holistic development of our students and play a vital role in promoting health, fitness and wellbeing across the school.

What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE and swimming lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students
- Develop and implement engaging swimming programmes to teach students essential water safety and swimming skills
- Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs and competitions to foster a love of physical activity
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Collaborate with the teaching team to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in the classroom, sports facilities and swimming pool
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall monitoring and evaluation of the PE and swimming programme
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years experience as a PE or swimming teacher
- Bachelor's degree or teaching certifcate in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field
- Knowledge of the Indonesian national curriculum and school physical education standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents and the wider school community
- Proven ability to plan and deliver dynamic, inclusive and age-appropriate physical education lessons
- Proficient swimming skills and experience in teaching swimming to children
- Passionate about promoting health, fitness and wellbeing in a school environment
