We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager, Payroll Services. Reporting to the Head of Payroll Services, this full-time and permanent position is based in Indonesia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Service Delivery team and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership & Operations:

  • Manage and supervise end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with SLAs and local labor laws.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external vendors regarding payroll and employee benefits.

Compliance & Accuracy:

  • Ensure correct payroll calculations, tax deductions (PPh 21), BPJS contributions, and adherence to Indonesian labor regulations.
  • Handle internal and external audits related to payroll data and processes.

Process Improvement & Implementation:

  • Lead payroll system implementation projects and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Analyze existing workflows and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and documentation.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust in payroll services.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Key requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in payroll management, preferably within a BPO or professional services environment.
  • Brevet A & B certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in client relationship management and payroll system implementation is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws (PPh 21), and BPJS compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software; ability to manage and analyze payroll data effectively.
  • Technologically savvy and quick to adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
