Job Description

This role is responsible for onboarding and managing partnerships with Sources of Funds, including bank payments (credit cards, debit cards, virtual accounts), e-wallets, QRIS, and other critical payment methods required to support merchant adoption and transaction growth. The Payment Gateway Partnership Lead will own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle from partner identification and commercial negotiation to regulatory alignment and technical integration. The role requires deep understanding of payment gateway architecture, regulatory considerations, and commercial models to ensure integrations are scalable, compliant, and commercially viable.

Source of Funds Strategy & Prioritization

  • Identify and evaluate critical Sources of Funds (SoF) required to ensure competitive payment method coverage (credit card, debit card, virtual account, e-wallet, QRIS, and other emerging methods).
  • Define prioritization roadmap based on merchant demand, market trends, cost structure (MDR), regulatory landscape, and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct commercial and operational assessment to determine optimal partners aligned with Boost's growth and margin objectives.
  • Continuously benchmark partner performance, pricing, and reliability to ensure Boost remains competitive in the market.

Integration Governance & Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to establish standardized integration frameworks for connecting with Sources of Funds.
  • Lead communication between internal technical teams and external partners to ensure clear scope, timelines, and integration milestones.
  • Monitor integration progress and resolve cross functional bottlenecks proactively.

Partnership Acquisition & Commercial Negotiation

  • Lead end to end onboarding of Sources of Funds, from initial engagement and business case development to commercial negotiation and execution.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including MDR, settlement structure, operational SLA, and incentive mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams to structure and finalize contractual agreements.
  • Develop partnership models that balance growth acceleration with sustainable margin optimization.

Deployment Oversight, Compliance & Operational Readiness

  • Ensure all integrations and product deployments comply with applicable regulatory requirements (Bank Indonesia, QRIS standards, card scheme regulations, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure proper approval, reporting, and settlement processes.
  • Monitor budget utilization, resource allocation, and implementation timelines.
  • Ensure operational readiness prior to go live, including reconciliation flow, settlement logic, and dispute management framework.
  • Act as the escalation point for partnership-related operational or regulatory issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Highly results-driven, with demonstrated ability to deliver partnership onboarding, integrations, and go-live milestones within defined timelines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or ecosystem roles, with exposure to payment infrastructure players such as banks, e wallets, payment gateway, or payment processors.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess commercial models, partnership viability, and integration feasibility, and translate them into structured business cases, written documentation, and executive level presentations.
  • Good understanding of technical concepts related to payment gateway integrations (i.e API based integrations, settlement and reconciliation flows, transaction lifecycle), which will be a strong advantage in managing partners and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing complex discussions with banks, financial institutions, and technology partners.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
