Job Description

Organization- Alila Seminyak

Summary

  • Manage the pastry & bakery production schedule, ensuring timely delivery of fresh and delicious pastries for service
  • Train, mentor, and lead pastry &bakery team members, providing guidance and support in pastry &bakery techniques, recipes, and presentation
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and other team members to create seasonal menus and incorporate pastry offerings into the overall restaurant concept
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria;

  • Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a 5* hotel or high-end restaurant or pastry shop
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and flavor profiles
  • Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production and service deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance
