Job Description

Assistant Manager – Parts Procurement & Inventory Planning

Mazda Indonesia (ATPM) is looking for an experienced professional to join our Aftersales team and manage parts procurement and inventory planning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage local and imported parts procurement to ensure optimal availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels to achieve targeted months of stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Manage import-related costs and ensure compliance with all applicable import regulations and internal procedures.
  • Monitor parts supply and coordinate solutions for customer back orders.
  • Maintain accurate vendor data, agreements, and supporting documents in accordance with internal compliance requirements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and payment status for parts purchases from vendors.
  • Analyze demand, stock movement, fill rate, and inventory performance to support effective purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare accurate monthly reports on parts inventory, procurement, and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce import and procurement costs without compromising parts availability.

  • Parts fill rate and months of stock
  • Vendor and internal compliance
  • Import and procurement cost reduction
  • Back-order fulfilment performance
  • Inventory accuracy and reporting timeliness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in parts procurement, inventory planning, supply chain, or related functions.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or spare-parts industry is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of demand planning, inventory control, purchasing, and import processes.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian import regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong vendor-management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
