The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Partner Success Manager for our SEA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with our institutional partners, ensuring they are satisfied with our services, and helping them achieve their goals in Indonesia/ Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Account Management (50%)

a. Manage assigned ICR accounts and responsible for ICR performance;

b. Manage the onboarding program for new ICR regarding operational aspects, act as a close buddy to make sure the ICR executes the stakeholders/agents/ partnership management on behalf of Acumen partners;

c. Assist in creating training courses and materials that help ICRs quickly get up to speed on the job;

d. Assist in tracking the delivery of all ICRs based in Viet Nam office and reporting in a timely fashion for troubleshooting as necessary;

e. Assisting in hiring new ICRs;

f. Temporarily act as an ICR to assist in the transition period between onboarding and hiring of a new ICR;

g. Analyse student mobility data to improve CX with the client. Collecting insights from the market to create quarterly reports across study destinations.

2. Institutional Partnership (30%)

a. Proactively establish relationships with Indonesia/ Vietnam higher education institutions to understand their needs and explore opportunities for new TNE delivery in Indonesia/ Vietnam;

b. Advise partners on potential partners based on the identified interests of both parties and facilitate engagement;

c. Negotiating terms of partnership agreements to ensure that both parties (international client and Indonesia/ Vietnam institution) are meeting their obligations and benefitting from the relationship;

d. Manage existing partnerships by developing new ideas for collaboration, monitoring performance, and resolving business matters;

e. Develop and manage long-term relationships with partners to increase sales opportunities and customer loyalty;

f. Develop and maintain a detailed, searchable dataset of local partners;

g. Support TNE market research reports commissioned by partners;

h. Work with other stakeholders such as schools, education groups, and corporations to explore other B2B relationships on behalf of clients.

3. Business Development (10%)

a. Assist in planning and executing projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met;

b. Develop and implement outreach activities to attract new customers in Indonesia/ Vietnam.

4. Market Intelligence (10%)

a. Track and report on partner success metrics, including satisfaction, retention rates, and service usage;

b. Gather market intelligence and conduct presentable decks based on business needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of a degree and/or relevant combination of skills and experience.
  • At least 7 years of working experience, including management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in international education recruitment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate and present effectively to groups, and engage with a diverse range of people and organisations.
  • Analytical skills and data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team, as well as work independently using initiative and judgement.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
  • High level of responsibility and accountability for completing tasks within specified time frames.
  • Use your own expertise and seek others expertise to achieve team goals.
  • Fluent in English.
