Role Description:

The Part Time Music Teacher (Vocal Focused) will design and deliver vocal music lessons for learners in the primary level, aligned with Sekolah Cikal's curriculum and Cikal 5 Stars Competencies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning engaging vocal exercises and repertoire, teaching fundamental and advanced vocal techniques, and guiding learners in individual and group performances. The teacher will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with other educators on school events, concerts, and performances. This is a contract, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, requiring active participation in school activities and meetings as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field.
• Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to apply these concepts in vocal instruction.
• Demonstrated Music Performance skills, particularly in vocal performance, with the ability to mentor learners in stage presence and expression.
• Background in Music Education, including lesson planning, classroom management, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
• Proficient in using English as language of instruction.
