Job Description
Sacks of Spice (SOS Education) is looking for a Part-Time Arabic Teacher to lead our upcoming Arabic for Non Native Speakers Intensive Programme.
We are looking for an Arabic teacher who can create an engaging learning environment while building students foundations across speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and practical communication.
About the Programme
Programme: Arabic for Non Native Speakers Intensive
Schedule: 5 days per week
Class duration: 2 hours per day
What You'll Do
• Deliver intensive Arabic lessons for beginner-level learners.
• Teach across the four core language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Build students Arabic foundations in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, and everyday communication.
• Develop and facilitate engaging activities that encourage learners to actively use Arabic.
• Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels and provide regular feedback and support throughout the programme.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, exercises, and activities aligned with the programme's learning outcomes.
• Conduct regular progress checks and contribute to the end-of-programme assessment.
• Work with the SOS Education team to ensure consistency across the curriculum and learner experience.
• Support learners in developing the confidence to use Arabic beyond the classroom.
What We're Looking For
• Strong proficiency in Arabic Language, with excellent command of spoken and written Arabic.
• Experience teaching Arabic as a foreign or second language, particularly to beginner learners.
• Strong understanding of Arabic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing.
• Able to teach in a structured yet engaging and interactive way.
• Comfortable teaching an intensive learning programme with consistent sessions across five days each week.
• Able to assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Patient, encouraging, and responsive to learners needs.
• Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills.
• A degree or background in Arabic, Education, Linguistics, Arabic Studies, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience working with CEFR- or AFAF-aligned Arabic curricula is a plus.
