Job Summary
As an Analyst, Legal within Traveloka's Legal function, you will play a key role in supporting the team's mission to protect the company's interests and drive compliant growth. You will leverage your legal and administrative expertise to assist legal counsel with critical research, documentation, and operational tasks that keep the team running smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and interpret proposed and existing laws, statutes, and regulations to support legal counsel's advice
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and review legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies, and other relevant documents
- Assist in legal administrative matters including document filing, preparation and submission of litigation and intellectual property supporting documents, and recording of legal data
- Set up, organize, and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems in line with applicable procedures and standards
- Record, distribute, and monitor deadlines for the legal team to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Prepare regulatory updates and ensure the fulfilment of the company's legal compliance obligations
- Manage office correspondences, including emails, phone calls, and mail, efficiently and promptly
- Assist in the submission, monitoring, and payment of invoices as well as budget tracking
- Plan and schedule appointments, conferences, meetings, and travel arrangements for the legal team
- Liaise and coordinate with external service providers when necessary to support legal and administrative tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university
- Minimum of 2 years of active working experience in a company's legal team, or 1 year of active working experience in a reputable law firm; alternatively, 3 years of working experience in administrative matters with a bachelor's degree
- Previously worked at a reputable law firm or multinational corporation as a member of the legal team (or prior law firm experience is an advantage for administrative-focused candidates)
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents and agreements
