Job Description

The Palm Oil & Plantation Accounting & Tax Manager role offers an opportunity for an experienced professional to join one of the leading players in the palm oil and plantation industry as it continues to grow. The position plays a key role in overseeing accounting and tax functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and tax regulations, and establishing strong financial controls across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting and financial reporting, the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with PSAK and applicable standards
  • Align accounting processes with palm oil and plantation operations
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost analysis to support decision-making
  • Manage internal and external audits, reconciliation activities, and the strengthening of internal controls
  • Oversee corporate tax matters in coordination with the Tax function and external advisers
  • Manage consolidated reporting and intercompany transactions across multiple entities
  • Develop and implement Accounting & Finance policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to directors and senior management
  • Ensure the consistency and standardisation of accounting practices across entities and locations

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance & Tax, including at least 3 years at manager level, preferably within the palm oil, plantation, agribusiness, or commodity industry
  • Experience in a publicly listed company (Tbk) or large-scale corporate environment is highly preferred
  • Proven experience managing accounting and finance functions across multiple entities or locations
  • Proven leadership experience working with directors, senior management, auditors, and tax advisers
  • Strong understanding of PSAK, financial reporting, consolidation, and internal controls
  • Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
