Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science / Data Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering (any discipline) with strong ERP and data background
  • Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Integration certifications are highly advantageous.
  • 10–14 years of total professional experience in ERP, IT systems, or data management.

Must have:

  • Data Migration lead with working experience in the below Finance modules data migration

Account Payables

Account Receivables

Fixed Asset

General Ledger

Cash Management

  • Experience in data migration strategy preparation for Oracle Fusion Finance modules.
  • Lead Oracle Finance Cloud implementation project by seamlessly integrating technical and functional expertise for successful project delivery
  • Strong understanding of finance data migration concepts, methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data reconciliation post data migration
  • Experience in Legacy data assessment and cleansing, Source‑to‑target mapping, FBDI file preparation. Reconciliation of Post data load
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience data migration tools and technologies like FBDI, REST/SOAP web services, ADFdi and Oracle Integration cloud (OIC).
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and transformation.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of OTBI Reports
  • Strong technical understanding of how the data is imported from 3rd party systems to Fusion modules through OIC.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with 3rd Party vendors and other support teams.
  • High-Level communication skills to collaborate, influence, and persuade others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to senior management.
  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Finance is advantageous.

Responsibility:

  • Data Migration Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies for Oracle Cloud Finance implementations, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data migration requirements, identify data sources, and define data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Data Mapping and Transformation: Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and consistent data migration from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Finance modules.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Establish data quality assurance processes to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize data migration processes to minimize downtime and ensure efficient transfer of large volumes of data to Oracle Cloud Finance.
  • Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration of migrated data with other Oracle Cloud modules and third-party systems.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation of data migration processes, including data mapping documents, migration scripts, and data validation procedures
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to data migration teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards in data migration
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment of data migration activities with project objectives and timelines
  • Data Migration Iterations: Execute multiple data migration iterations as per strategy like mock migration cycles in Dev, SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals and production cutover loads
  • Data Migration Lead is responsible for delivering all the above tasks during the implementation cycle.
