Our services include cataract surgery, LASIK / SMILE Pro, retina, glaucoma, cornea, pediatric ophthalmology, and other advanced eye procedures performed in a modern and high-standard operating facility.
We are currently looking for a qualified professional to join our team as:
OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL NURSE (OPERATING ROOM)Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as Scrub Nurse assisting ophthalmologists during cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, and other eye surgeries, including Laser Vision Correction procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, ophthalmic surgical machines, and operating microscope.
- Ensure operating room readiness according to surgical and sterilization protocols.
- Handle and maintain microsurgical instruments with high precision and care.
- Assist in patient preparation before surgery and monitoring after surgery.
- Observe post-operative patient condition and report any abnormalities.
- Ensure all procedures follow patient safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures and equipment usage.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Nursing with Ners Professional Certification.
- Must have a valid and active STR (Registered Nurse License).
- Minimum 1 year experience in Operating Room / Eye Clinic / Eye Hospital preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Ophthalmology is required.
- Able to operate computerized and surgical medical equipment.
- High attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Calm, disciplined, and able to work in high-precision surgical environment.
- Good communication skills, especially when assisting elderly patients.
Special Certification (Mandatory):
- Operating Room / Surgical Nurse Training Certificate is required.
- Ophthalmic Nurse / Eye Surgery training certification will be an advantage.
