We are seeking a skilled and experienced OSS Engineer to join our telecommunications project team in Jakarta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and maintenance of Huawei OSS (Operations Support Systems) solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in OSS systems, Linux environments, scripting, and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, integrate, and configure Huawei OSS solutions (e.g., U2000, NCE, OMC) for network monitoring, fault management, and performance management.
- Administer and maintain Linux-based servers and platforms supporting OSS applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline OSS operations and reporting.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and databases for OSS data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Create and manage dashboards and visualizations (using tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Huawei proprietary tools) for network performance and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with network planning, operations, and optimization teams to ensure OSS systems meet business and technical requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of OSS-related issues.
- Ensure system performance, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Document system configurations, processes, and integration procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum3-5 years of experienceas an OSS Engineer in the telecommunications industry.
- Hands-on experience with Huawei OSS products(U2000/NCE/OMC or similar) is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency inLinux/Unix administration(Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Advanced scripting skills inPythonfor automation and integration.
- Solid experience withSQL(MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) for database management and query optimization.
- Experience in data visualization tools such asGrafana, Kibana, Tableau, Power BI, or Huawei iManager U2000.
- Knowledge of telecommunication network technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G, IP, Transmission, etc.).
- Understanding of network protocols (SNMP, CORBA, FTP, SFTP) and OSS integration interfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Huawei certifications (e.g., HCIA/HCIP OSS) are astrong plus.
