Operations, Marketing & Compliance Manager

Are you an experienced Villa, Property or Hospitality Operations Manager looking for an opportunity to help build a new professional service in Bali

Interacco's Bali Compliance Centre (BCC) is developing a specialist service helping privately owned villas and small boutique hotels in Bali manage and improve their legal compliance, operational standards and sustainability performance.

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of BCC.
• Coordinate property inspections and compliance assessments.
• Manage and support BCC field auditors.
• Organise schedules, priorities and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate property, client and operational records.
• Ensure BCC procedures and quality standards are consistently followed.
• Coordinate with property owners, auditors and external professional partners.
• Identify operational problems and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Prepare operational reports for management.
• Continuously improve BCC's operational procedures and service delivery.

• Coordinate the BCC property compliance assessment process.
• Ensure audit reports are complete, consistent and supported by appropriate evidence.
• Monitor outstanding compliance issues and corrective actions.
• Follow up with property owners on missing documentation and required improvements.
• Coordinate with BCC's legal partners where specialist legal advice is required.
• Keep up to date with relevant regulatory and property requirements affecting Bali's villa sector.
• Ensure compliance information is correctly recorded in the BCC Central Compliance System.

• Coordinate the sustainability assessment of participating properties.
• Assess practical sustainability practices relating to energy, water, waste, resources and environmental management.
• Identify opportunities for property owners to improve environmental performance.
• Support owners in implementing practical sustainability improvements.
• Monitor agreed sustainability actions and improvements.
• Coordinate sustainability evidence and documentation for BCC assessments.
• Support properties preparing for relevant sustainability recognition and the Eco Climate Badge process.
• Keep up to date with developments in sustainable tourism and environmental practices relevant to Bali.

• Develop and implement local marketing activities for BCC.
• Identify potential villa-owner clients and new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with villa owners, property managers and hospitality professionals.
• Present BCC's services to prospective clients.
• Organise and participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Follow up leads and maintain an organised sales pipeline.
• Convert qualified prospects into BCC clients.
• Develop local business networks and referral relationships.
• Identify partnership opportunities with relevant professional organisations.
• Support the development of marketing materials, presentations and digital content.
• Represent BCC professionally at relevant hospitality, tourism, sustainability and business events.

We are looking for someone who understands how tourism properties operate, is comfortable managing people and information, and has the ability to develop strong professional relationships.

You should ideally have:

• 5+ years of experience in villa, hotel, resort, property or hospitality operations.
• Experience managing teams and/or multiple properties.
• Experience with inspections, quality control or operational standards.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Experience working with property owners, managers, suppliers and contractors.
• Good understanding of SOPs and operational procedures.
• Genuine interest in compliance and sustainable tourism.
• Good understanding of sustainability and environmental practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A commercial mindset and confidence in developing new business.
• Experience in sales, marketing or business development.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Good computer and database/CRM skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Bahasa Indonesia communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.

Experience with legal compliance, government documentation, property licensing, environmental standards, sustainability certification or eco-tourism would be an advantage.

BCC will provide training in our compliance methodology, assessment procedures and Central Compliance System.
