Adecco Indonesia is representing a well-established Indonesian logistics and transportation company with a strong asset base and growing presence across Java. The company operates owned truck fleets and integrated logistics services, and is now looking for a hands-on operations leader to strengthen their Jakarta operations.

About the Role

The Operations Manager will be the backbone of the company's Jakarta trucking operations, responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day execution, fleet performance, and service delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable being on the ground, solving problems in real time, and driving operational discipline across the team. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this person will play a key role in improving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day trucking operations in Jakarta, ensuring on-time delivery, fleet utilization, and cost efficiency
• Oversee driver management, route planning, and vehicle maintenance coordination
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs including OTP, cost per trip, and fleet availability
• Coordinate closely with the commercial team to ensure seamless execution of customer commitments
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively
• Ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulatory requirements
• Support business growth by building scalable operational processes and team capabilities

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in trucking and land transportation operations
• Hands-on leadership style — comfortable going to the field and working directly with drivers and operational staff
• Strong understanding of fleet management, route optimization, and vehicle maintenance
• Experience managing large teams across multiple operational functions
• Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
