Operations Manager (Retail / F&B)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

About the Role

Adecco Indonesia is currently assisting a Korean brand headquartered in Singapore that is expanding its operations into Indonesia. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee newly established restaurant outlets in Jakarta.

This position will be responsible for leading Restaurant Managers across multiple locations, ensuring operational excellence, consistent service standards, and achievement of financial and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of restaurant outlets in Jakarta.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Restaurant Managers across multiple locations.
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, including sales, costs, profitability, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian food safety, hygiene, health, and licensing regulations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee supply chain processes, billing accuracy, and inventory control.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of outlet employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for Restaurant Managers and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Develop sales initiatives, promotional activities, and customer service strategies to drive business growth.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints and operational issues effectively and professionally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Outlet Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Conversational Mandarin or Korean language skills will be an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and operational performance management.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian labor regulations and food safety standards is preferred.
