Job Description
As an Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing operations of several plants to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimise production processes and resource utilisation.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all operations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Overseeing the maintenance and upgrade of equipment and facilities.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the engineering and manufacturing teams.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Director should have:
- A strong plant management experience, preferably have managed more than 1 plant.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in process optimisation and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software for operations management.
