Job Purpose
To ensure the reliability and sustainability of Fuel & Lubes distribution operations in support of business targets and company growth, through efficient, safe (HSSE), and compliant operational management, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Provide end-to-end technical guidance on supply planning, distribution, storage, and delivery operations across multiple regions
- Deliver operational solutions to address challenges, including those in remote areas or under special operating conditions
- Evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of operational processes
- Develop logistics and distribution strategies (land, sea, and multimodal) to ensure supply reliability and cost efficiency
- Identify and mitigate distribution risks related to weather, vendors, infrastructure, and geographical conditions
- Direct inventory management practices and optimize the utilization of operational assets
- Ensure inventory data integrity and operational readiness of facilities
- Oversee the implementation of HSSE principles and support risk mitigation and business continuity planning
- Provide operational solution recommendations to address issues involving customers and strategic partners
- Prepare, analyze, and ensure the accuracy of operational reports (operations, inventory, assets, HSSE, and compliance)
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Provide operational insights to support product development, service enhancement, and new business initiatives
- Support operational readiness for the execution of the company's strategic projects
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Management, Economics, Business, or a related field)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Fuel & Lubes Operations and/or Supply Chain
- Experience in the Mining or Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and multimodal distribution
- Solid knowledge of HSSE principles and risk management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform operational analysis, cost control, and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex operational challenges
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing capability, even without direct reports
- Proactive, results-oriented, and high level of integrity
