Operation Manager

PT Medcopower Servis Indonesia (MPSI), a subsidiary of Medco Power, is seeking an experienced Operation Manager to lead the operation of a 275 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant.

This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in combined-cycle power generation who are passionate about operational excellence, reliability, and developing high-performing operations teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead 24/7 operation of a 275 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
• Oversee Central Control Room (CCR) operations for Gas Turbine, HRSG, Steam Turbine, and Balance of Plant systems.
• Act as the technical authority for plant operation, including troubleshooting and operational decision-making on the control system.
• Drive plant reliability, availability, heat rate improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE teams.
• Coordinate plant dispatch activities and ensure compliance with PLN dispatch requirements and PPA obligations.
• Develop and coach Operations Supervisors, Shift Leaders, and Control Room Operators through structured competency development.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, environmental regulations, and company operational procedures.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the power generation industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role leading plant operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with GE Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (Frame 6/7/9 Series) and Steam Turbine operations.
• Proven experience in GE Mark VIe Control System troubleshooting (or equivalent GE DCS platform) is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant operation, performance optimization, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and operational excellence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
