Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Support the company's carbon emissions calculation and related initiatives, including carbon reduction planning and carbon trading follow-up activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of Sustainability Reports and other sustainability-related disclosures in alignment with relevant frameworks.
- Participate in sustainability projects and initiatives, including climate, environmental, and supply chain-related programs.
- Understand the sources, methodologies, and interpretation of sustainability data to support monitoring and reporting activities.
- Assist in responding to sustainability disclosure platforms, client questionnaires, and ESG assessments.
- Support implementation of sustainability policies and compliance requirements, including internal coordination and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties, including departments, suppliers, consultants, and auditors, on sustainability-related matters.
- Prepare sustainability-related communication materials, presentations, and internal briefs when required.
- Attend workshops, webinars, conferences, and working groups as part of capacity building and industry engagement.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Forestry, or other related fields. Candidates from other disciplines with strong analytical and numerical skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Those with 3 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with sustainability data, supported by good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD/TNFD, ISSB) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of greenhouse gas (GHG) calculation or supply chain sustainability is a plus.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong coordination skills.
- Willing to relocate to the job location.
