Odoo Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules using Python and Odoo framework.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Odoo.
• Customize Odoo views, workflows, reports, and business logic.
• Integrate Odoo with external systems using APIs (REST/JSON, XML-RPC).
• Perform data migration, data import/export, and database optimization.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Odoo application issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, QA, and end users to ensure successful implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Support Odoo upgrades, version migrations, and system performance tuning.
• Ensure system security, access control, and compliance with best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an Odoo Developer or in ERP development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Odoo ORM.
• Solid understanding of Odoo architecture, modules, and workflows.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Odoo front-end technologies (XML, QWeb, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Odoo versions (e.g., Odoo 14+).
• Knowledge of Git version control systems.
• Ability to analyze problems and deliver effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing Odoo ERP for finance, accounting, inventory, sales, HR, or manufacturing modules.
• Knowledge of Odoo.sh or Odoo Enterprise environment.
• Experience with third-party integrations (payment gateways, e-commerce platforms).
• Understanding of business processes and ERP best practices.
• Odoo certification is a plus.
• hands-on experience with message brokers and in-memory caching (Kafka, Redis) and solid experience using Java with Spring Boot.
