We are looking for an NX CAD Routing Automation Software Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Siemens NX customization and automation. The role involves developing and supporting NX CAD Routing Automation solutions and custom applications using NX Open C#, working within Teamcenter Managed Mode environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong CAD knowledge, software development skills, and the ability to translate engineering and business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain NX CAD Routing Automation solutions and custom applications.
- Develop NX custom tools and applications using NX Open C#.
- Design and develop user interfaces using UI Styler, WinForms, and/or WPF.
- Translate business and engineering requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, and solution architecture.
- Work with NX Managed Mode and Teamcenter PLM environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and cross-functional teams for integration and implementation.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automation applications.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing NX automation tools.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with engineering and business requirements.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Siemens NX CAD customization and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in NX CAD Routing Automation.
- Strong programming experience with NX Open C#.
- Experience in UI development using UI Styler, WinForms, or WPF.
- Good understanding of CAD design and drawing creation.
- Hands-on experience with NX Managed Mode and Teamcenter PLM.
- Experience in custom tool and application development.
- Ability to convert business requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Experience in software architecture, coding, unit testing, and integration testing.
